Wildlife Safari in Oregon

Here we are again, the Mellars. Just another adventure to fulfill and live out. The Mellars children, loved it. Molly loved the giraffes. Melissa loved going back to the same place she went to as a youth and seeing all the changes.

What kind of changes were at Wildlife Safari? Did the lions not chase you, the buffalo block your path, and the ostriches peck the top of your car?

The place is much bigger! Now they have watchmen at each of those areas were the animals chased or blocked you (other than the birds) and the watchmen would see that your window was cracked and they would command you over a LARGE speaker device to close your windows before entering. The birds still pecked the top of your car and if permitted would try to peck at your face, but that little stunt is an act of excitement that all cannot resist tempting the bird to do. Damian was even in on this one. He got so scared he practically jumped into the arms of Darius clear on the other side of the car. Mommy had to roll his window up for him so the bird would learn who the real boss is right away. Those birds try to always get the last word in, by following our car as far as we can be we say, "Neener, neener - we can't hear you." And drive off as if we concored the world! We showed that BIRD!!!
